
Exhibition: The Indivisible Atomo
On Thursday March 14th, the artist-led collective Subjective hosted an intimate event for the first look at Pedro Baez’s inaugural solo show, The Indivisible Atomo. The exhibition is on view at Tribeca’s LUME Studios, where I got to meet the brilliant artist and see his new collection. Large-scale oil paintings, 3D-designed sculptures, and digital works welcome us to Atomo’s colorful world where several planes of reality exists in a geometric realm of inspiration, right here, among us.

Exhibition: Hori7ons
Hori7ons is an artist-led, community-driven, immersive digital art experience that will take place in early March in Vancouver, Canada. Produced by Chroma Link Collective, the four-day exhibition presents seven local artists’ diverse perspectives on the impact of technology on culture at The Kent’s immersive gallery space.

Through a pinhole into the unknown – A Cosmic Movie Camera is a group show curated by Nora N. Khan and Andrea Bellini at the Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève as part of Biennale de l’Image en Mouvement 2024, presenting a collection that explores the moving image in the algorithmic age.

Virtual Exhibition: CYBERIANA
Techspressionism is a contemporary art-history term to describe fine artists using digital technology to convey subjective and emotional content. “Expressionists presented the world from a subjective perspective, distorting it radically in order to evoke moods or ideas, seeking to express their emotional experience rather than physical reality” — Techspressionism emerges with the same idea in the age of technology.

AR Public Art: Alien Superstar by Tourmaline
To make sure black voices and stories can be heard widely, Kinfolk has launched its public AR exhibition in New York City — Alien Superstar by Tourmaline is one of the four augmented reality monuments placed in various locations in the city as part of Kinfolk’s efforts to highlighting black history in Signature Series.

Exhibition: Female in Focus
Female in Focus is the annual exhibition by the British Journal of Photography that’s dedicated to celebrating the remarkable contributions of women in contemporary photography. This year The Bridge and Tunnel Gallery in Brooklyn showcased the fourth edition of the show, featuring an inspiring collection of photographs that capture diverse perspectives, stories, and emotions through the lens of woman-identifying artists.
