Meta Betties x De Gods: Red Meat
Timed just days before the USA general election, Meta Betties’ performance piece, “Red Meat,” reimagined Yoko Ono’s iconic “Cut Piece” from 1965 into a contemporary statement on women’s rights and agency at The Canvas in New York City on November 2nd. The piece aimed to inspire action among viewers, emphasizing the importance of voting and highlighting the political stakes for women’s rights in today's society. The event also presented De Gods, one of the most prominent and influential NFT collections.

Female in Focus is the annual exhibition by the British Journal of Photography that’s dedicated to celebrating the remarkable contributions of women in contemporary photography. This year The Bridge and Tunnel Gallery in Brooklyn showcased the fourth edition of the show, featuring an inspiring collection of photographs that capture diverse perspectives, stories, and emotions through the lens of woman-identifying artists.

What Models Make Worlds: Critical Imaginaries of AI is a group exhibition at the Ford Foundation Gallery, which highlights the biases of AI and algorithms — while artificial intelligence shapes our contemporary algorithmic realities, these algorithms reproduce and reflect the biases of the humans who code them. Featuring femme-identifying, BIPOC, and queer artists, the exhibition invites the visitors to imagine alternative futures via algorithmic models that are based on diverse and inclusive data sets.

On September 21st, digital art lovers gathered at The Canvas 3.0 at the Oculus in New York City for UNGA78 Latine Art Exhibit to celebrate and appreciate the complex heritage and diverse artistic expression of Latin American artists. The fun night of women empowerment, Latin heritage celebration, stunning digital art, and yummy empanadas was a wonderful opportunity to experience the power and creativity of rich culture and inspiring diversity.
