UART MEDIA FEST 2024 is looking for motion designers, 3D artists, and light show creators with a passion for multimedia art

Are you a motion designer, 3D visualizer, or light show creator with a passion for multimedia art? UART MEDIA FEST 2024 invites you to showcase your art in this exciting international contest and festival. With a chance to win grants for your projects and display your work on Europe’s largest facade screens, this is an opportunity you won’t want to miss.

Additionally, Cansu Peker (the founder of Digital Arts Blog) will be a jury member at the festival – let us know if you’re applying!

Hosted by the Gulliver multifunctional complex in partnership with MEET FUTURE, this year’s festival will take place in the vibrant heart of Kyiv, Ukraine, on October 5, 2024. Expect to see innovative works from gifted motion designers around the world, captivating thousands of festival-goers.

Starting August 6, you can register to participate. Be sure to submit your entries by September 5. The festival’s grand finale, featuring a showcase of the best works on Gulliver’s massive screens, is set for October 5, 2024.

“The event serves as a wellspring of inspiration and brings joy, particularly during these trying times for Ukraine. Our gathering not only bathes life in brilliance but also commemorates the fortitude and indomitable spirit of Ukraine. We aspire to bolster Ukrainian culture and art amidst these challenging circumstances while engaging the global creative community in this endeavor.”

Participants can choose between two categories: tech-heavy media art, highlighting the latest from top production studios, and digital & crypto art, featuring unique creations by individual artists.

  4. Get your entry in by September 5, 2024.

A panel of esteemed industry experts will select the winners, who will receive grants to further develop their projects. The top two winners will also earn $3,000 for the best video and $1,000 for NFT creations, plus the opportunity to collaborate with MEET FUTURE and showcase their work on major international media platforms.

Whether you’re part of a creative studio or an individual designer, you’re welcome to submit existing works or create something special just for the festival. This year’s theme, “The Universe in Everyone,” offers great freedom for creativity.

UART MEDIA FEST is part of the Gulliver shopping center’s 11th-anniversary festivities this October, blending traditional art with futuristic digital installations around the theme of artificial intelligence.

Last year’s festival, marking Gulliver’s 10th anniversary, was a huge success, attracting 22 artists from various countries. The unique styles and concepts of their works, viewed by over 1,000 in-person attendees and 4,000 online viewers, set a new benchmark for cultural events in Ukraine.

“The occasion will be underscored by a charitable initiative during the celebratory concert featuring luminaries from the Ukrainian entertainment sphere. Through this collective effort, we aim to extend support to one of Ukraine's humanitarian missions.”
