Save the date — a new virtual exhibition, “In-between,” is launching on New Art City on December 16, 2024, and it’s free for everyone to explore.

Curated by the creative duo >3<3=3, this online showcase brings together 16 fresh talents, from designers to artists, to explore the theme of being “in-between.” Their works span everything from 2D to 3D and touch on ideas like culture, nature, and the digital world. Think of it as a playful, digital space where ideas connect, overlap, and evolve.

“In-between” focuses on those undefined spaces that exist between opposites. It’s where design meets games, where graphics become spatial, and where grown-ups still hold onto their inner child. The exhibition space is designed like a web, where each artwork feels connected, creating a journey that’s part thoughtful exploration and part visual playground.

The featured artists are Shinkichi Hiroshima, Purui, Can Yang, Ayasha Khan, Xuan (Xuanjie Huang, Yimin Qiao, Babak Ahteshamipour, Yinan Lin, Sid and Geri Chunlu Sheng (Deer), Bohan Wang, Lily Piette, Rocco Gallo Erifili, Tongk, and Los. The participating artists come from diverse creative backgrounds and bring unique interpretations of the theme, spanning formats from digital landscapes to cultural commentaries.

The duo behind >3<3=3 — Deer (Chunlu Sheng) and Xuanjie Huang — believe in shaking things up. Inspired by the spirit of doing things differently, they’ve created a space for “useless ideas to grow,” where creativity isn’t boxed in. This isn’t just about looking at art; it’s about experiencing it in new ways.

New Art City is a browser-based platform for hosting virtual exhibitions, enabling real-time multiplayer experiences. It offers users free access without the need for downloads, installations, or personal information, making digital art inclusive and accessible.
